Since its inception in 1997, Launchpad has been Albuquerque's favorite live music venue. Located in downtown Albuquerque on Historic Route 66 between sixth and seventh streets, Launchpad has been rocking the ears of the Duke City's citizens with the many sounds of a thousand generations. A complete blend of musical varieties from national touring acts to the powerful sounds of Albuquerque's own varies from night to night. You may find a packed house for legends like Dick Dale, The Wailers or R.L. Burnside, and the very next night find yourself in the moshpit checking out modern rockers like Static X or Voodoo Glow Skulls. Endowed with one of the finest club sound systems in the state, the experience of live music is felt in its utmost. Launchpad is dedicated to the belief that music is an art and that art needs a gallery.
